1. Who we are
ContentBunker is an AI-powered content agency operating system. The service is operated and contactable at support@contentbunker.com.
2. What data we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, and hashed password
- Workspace data — your business name and client profiles
- Content data — ideas, scripts, calendar items, and performance metrics you create
- Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe; we do not store card details
- Usage data — login times and feature usage to help us improve the product
- Communications — emails you send to us and transactional emails we send to you
3. Why we collect it
- Account data — to create and maintain your account and provide the service
- Payment data — to process subscriptions and handle billing
- Content data — to deliver the core features of the platform
- Usage data — to understand how the product is used and improve it
- Email — to send transactional notifications (trial reminders, billing alerts, invites)
4. Who we share it with
We only share data with third parties that are necessary to operate the service:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- OpenAI — AI idea and script generation. Your client briefs, business details, and content prompts are sent to OpenAI to generate ideas and scripts. OpenAI's data usage is governed by their Privacy Policy.
- Render — application hosting and infrastructure
- Neon — database hosting
We do not sell your data to any third party.
5. Data retention
- Active accounts — retained while your subscription is active
- Trial accounts — workspace data is deleted 37 days after your trial ends if no plan is chosen
- Cancelled accounts — data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted
- You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@contentbunker.com
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your data — contact us and we will provide it in a readable format

7. Cookies
- Session cookie — required for authentication; expires when you sign out
- Workspace cookie — remembers your active workspace for 30 days
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Security
- Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS
- Infrastructure is hosted on Render, which is SOC 2 compliant
9. Children
ContentBunker is not intended for use by anyone under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.
